Update on Mayoral Campaign
Since I announced my campaign a few weeks ago, over 100 residents have contributed — helping me maintain an important principle of mine: That this campaign largely be funded by regular people in Montclair and not big special interests from Trenton or anywhere else. And with exception for some family members and friends who live outside of Montclair, this is holding true. I’m so appreciative of the groundswell of support in letters, emails, in person interactions so much more.
As we’re approaching our very first filing deadline on June 30th as a mayoral campaign, I wanted to reach out to ask you to consider supporting in some way whether that’s $5 or $50. I’ve appreciated the number of people donating $24 for 2024 — so that’s a thought too.
I plan to continue to keep special interests out of this and keep this race Montclair-fueled. I also plan to continue to spend the majority of my campaign dollars right here in Montclair with local contractors, printers, webmasters and more.
